Crappie Basics: New Hand Tied Hair Jig Joins the Mr. Crappie Lineup
by Richard Simms, CrappieNOW Editor
The new Mr. Crappie Shoo Shiner is a hand-tied feather jig that is designed for the all-around angler with panfish as their target. The Shoo Shiner is available in 1/16 oz., 1/32 oz., and 1/64 oz. options.
Built on the Teen-Zee Sausage Head profile, this hand tied hair jig comes in colors hand chosen by Wally Marshall himself. The Shoo Shiner is an extremely effective bait for finicky fish and situations where small baitfish are present.
“Crappie, bluegill, and perch love the Shoo Shiner,” said Wally “Mr. Crappie” Marshall. “Shoo Shiners are loaded with a specially designed head called the Sausage Head and hand tied with selected quality feathers to produce action like no other. Got finicky fish you’re trying to catch, Mr. Crappie Shoo Shiner is what the doctor ordered.”
