“When you think you are fishing too shallow, shallow up some more. A lot of people try to stay out in 6 or 7 feet of water, but if you want to have some spider rigging fun, shallow up to about a foot and a half of water. Loosen the drags a lot. Let out 12 inches of line. When you get to a school of crappie it’s a lot of fun.
