Professional crappie anglers Charles and Travis Bunting say one key in the Fall is to keep moving until you find a concentration of fish.

Charles Bunting and his son, Travis, have garnered three national crappie championships along with numerous other titles.
The duo says one of the keys to catching crappie in the Fall is to be mobile.
“Keep moving in the Fall,” said Travis. “When you find fish, you can slow down but because the fish are on the move, keep moving until you find them. Cover as many spots as you can during the day, including ledges at different depths. Move often and hit many spots”
The Buntings say water temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees can be a tough period, but when temperatures drop below 70 heading toward 60 degrees, the action picks up.
