Hooked on Happiness: The Magic of Taking Kids Fishing

The CrappieNOW and CatfishNOW teams recently gathered in Millbrook, Ala. for their annual Media Camp. Dozens of journalists, content creators, fishing guides and manufacturing representatives gathered to enjoy the great facilities – and great fishing offered in Elmore County.
One afternoon of the camp was dedicated to kids. A dozen area youngsters joined the journalists and fishing pros for an afternoon on the water.
CrappieNOW Editor Richard Simms was fortunate enough to ride along with fishing experts Josh Welch and Joey Pounders as they guided young Bella. What Josh and Joey never expected, however, is how much THEY would learn from this young lady. If this video doesn’t inspire you to want to take a kid fishing, we don’t know what will!
