Huffman to become Legend of the Outdoors

We are proud to share that CrappieNOW Co-Founder and Senior Writer Tim Huffman will soon be inducted into the prestigious “Legends of the Outdoors” Hall of Fame.
Besides his years of work with CrappieNOW, some of Huffman’s many other accomplishments include:
- Writing crappie articles for magazines for 33 years, with credits in numerous regional and national magazines
- Columnist and feature writer for Crappie World Magazine for 12 years
- Editor of Cabela’s Crappie USA Crappie Journal
- Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters Tournament Trail Magazine, serving as Editor 15 years
- Several thousand photo credits including more than 130 cover photos
- Author of nine books, the latest published 2022.
Hall of Fame founder, Garry Mason, has released an impressive list of inductees into the 21st annual “Legends of the Outdoors.” Beside Huffman, the list includes Kevin VanDam, “KVD” is a professional bass fisherman and the all-time money winner in professional bass fishing; Kathy Fennel, Executive Vice-President and General Manager of Major League Fishing; Bob Redfern, long-time outdoor TV personality on Bob Redfern’s Outdoor Magazine and retired US Army Infantry Lieutenant Colonel; Jim Ronquest, Co-Host and Producer of RNT-V and a World Champion Duck Caller; Gail Camp, long-time active female waterfowl hunter and a two-time Women’s World Championship Caller winner; Bill Miller, professional outdoor writer, former television personality, and owner of Bill Miller Outdoors and Phillip Vanderpool, well known hunter and host & owner of The Virtue TV.
Mason said this year’s official induction banquet will return to Springfield, Missouri.
“We will again be at the John A. & Genny Morris Convention Center for this year’s event,” said Mason. “Come join us Saturday, August 19th. Doors will open at 9am and the event will start at 10:30. There will be a luncheon and entertainment included.
