With a new venue in Sandusky, Ohio, the 2021 NPAA Conference will offer space for an expanded expo with larger booths including boats, motors, and marine accessories on display by NPAA Partners – plus an all-star line-up of speakers.
Post-COVID NPAA Conference Coming
After a year in which many things felt to be beyond control, the National Professional Anglers Association (NPAA) aims to put industry professionals back in the driver’s seat at their annual conference. With “Control Your Own Destiny” as the theme, a change in venue, and an all-star lineup of speakers, the NPAA is set to smash through barriers and previous attendance records.
This unprecedented event will include workshops, seminars, and exclusive networking opportunities all geared towards giving anglers, outfitters, and media professionals an advantage in the fishing industry. Speakers will include Gerald Swindle, Gary and Chase Parsons, Mike Iaconelli, and many others.
“Everyone is ready to get back together in person and put COVID behind us once and for all,” NPAA Board member Mike Iaconelli commented. “This event should be amazing, and I am proud to be part of it again this year.”
The 2021 NPAA Conference will take place October 20-22 at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions in Sandusky, Ohio. The change in venue offers space for an expanded expo with larger booths including boats, motors, and marine accessories on display by NPAA Partners.
“The expanded venue space is going to be a game-changer for conference attendees and our presenting sponsors,” said Patrick Neu, NPAA’s Executive Director. “We will have more room than ever before to showcase the best new technology and test it out right on the water.”
Close proximity to Sandusky Bay also allows for on-the-water product demonstrations, boat test-drives, and a no entry fee “Fish Donkey” format tournament. Sponsored by Lake Erie Shores and Islands Visitor Bureau, this fun tournament will take place on the final day. It includes both a bass and a walleye division, with cash and product prizes included as part of the conference registration.
Registration is open now through September 19th to non-members and members alike. New and current NPAA members receive a $50 discount on registration fees. New members will also receive nearly three free months of membership for 2021 at no charge, with all new memberships running through Oct. 31st of 2022.
Conference Registration fees of $175 for Pro Members and $100 for Student Angler Members includes seminar and expo access, meals, refreshment breaks, and tournament entry.
